These are Memphis-Style Playing cards I made for a college assignment. Given the emphasis on creative liberty at the start it didn’t take me long to arrive to “I’ll do Memphis!” as a design direction given it is a movement I deeply adore. I used a raw neon CMYK color palette with off-white as a backdrop and focused heavily on the line work. I made sure to not miss another playbook Memphis move being the use of bacteria patterns. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with the result.
